Linguistic is the
study of languages. An essay topic about linguistics is a topic that
touches on that specific language and describers more about it
depending on the topic set by the essay.
An argumentative essay topic on linguistics is
one explains about a certain language topic and expounds on it in an
argumentative manner. For example if one is told to write about the
advantages of the spread of the French language in Africa with this
one has to know the history of how the French language came to be a
major language in the west African countries so one has to basically

and come up with a well written argumentative paper that is well
understood and describes the linguistic topic well. Understanding the
language of the topic is good as it enables the writer to feel a
first hand account of what the topic is all about. There are many
diverse languages in the world and any of these languages can be used
as a topic of an argumentative essay so if one does not know the
language it is important for the writer to be well conversant with
the language of discussion.
