Progressivism

Progressivism was a reform movement of the late 1800s and it addresses many of the mixer problems that industrialization created. The Progressives wanted to improve the conditions of the poor and wanted government activity to be more honest and responsive. Even magazines printed about injustices and horrors, the journalists were cognise as muckrakers and exposed the society.
