In the score many characters pass along. Some to a greater extent important than others. I lead give a prescription of the more or slight important characters in the story and I will tell something about them.

The main character in the story is Christopher Jonh Francis Boon. He has got some sm totally problems. Like the fact that he doesn’t know what people think or feel. This is in reality hard for him. He is really shy because of this and he doesn’t dare to talk to other people because of this.
He is most of the time home alone. His mother lives in London and his baffle works to pay the bills. He wants to read books (especially about Maths), correspond programmes about all different things where he can collar about.
He reads, learns very much in his spare time. So it is not quite strange that he is really smart. At school he is working to get is A Maths, which he gets in the end of the story.
In the future he would like to become an astronaut. But because of his ‘little problems’ this is very unrealistic and unlikely.

unrivaled of the other important characters in the story is Christopher’s father. He has been taking care of Christopher on his own since the moment that Christopher’s mother moved to London. He works to make money, which causes Christopher to be home alone many times.



This is not such a big problem, because Christopher doesn’t care much to be alone.
Christopher’s father does everything what is the best for Christopher, but Christopher doesn’t notice this all the time and he gets incensed to his father. But his father is invariably patient with Christopher and doesn’t get angry much.

An other slight important character is Christopher’s mother. She made her role less important by fleeing from Christopher and his father. Christopher’s parents used to live unitedly and raise Christopher together. But she couldn’t handle Christopher very well.
