1.Introduction

MoD Shoeburyness is not a tralatitious factory environment as the deliverable product is broadly speaking data or a report. This assignment describes the mathematical process for one of our product streams i.e. the strain and evaluation of current and future ammunition systems for UK Armed Forces.

The process diagram at figure 1 below expand the principle method of product realization for the trial or proof of an artillery munition from receipt of customer condition through to production of the customer deliverable, a report and trials data.

2Capacity and Constraints

2.2.1The capacity of the site is finite and controlled by the chip and type of discrete operations that are being conducted con before long. The overall capacity of the site is the conduct of 4 trials concurrently; found on 2 proof trials, one static plosion trial and one Military training activity. Capacity is currently measured by the number of trials days completed, Significant mutation from this model would normally result in only 2 activities being conducted concurrently due to a combination of deficiency of equipment, competent personnel and appropriate real estate.
