Wanting to go verboten on a cold, airlike Sunday but at the same time gazumped to stay warm, my girlfriend and I decided to venture everyplace to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art since it was convenient and did not involve L.A. traffic. The visit was a first for the both of us and we were both astonished by the work and exhibitions that the Museum of Art had to run intoer. Entering the museum we force holdd past Graeco-Roman and Roman sculptures that dated back to 100 C.E. and also antiquated guileifacts from Egyptian and Samarian civilizations. I found it quite funny go forth a room that displayed ancient flora of trick and paltry on to a room that displayed youthful and abstract works of guile like Wifredo Lams The form of a Spell and John McLaughlin No.5. After quickly zooming by the modern art, I finally entered the room that contained works of art that I tend to appreciate more and took the time to observe and applaud the artists for their proficie ncy and view of their surroundings. I have everlastingly been sociable of ornament paintings mainly because it gives the viewer a glance of what the artists maxim at the time and also because of the dramatic turn of the landscape over the century. The two paintings that struck me the well-nigh were from 2 artists from the new-made 19th century, whose works are well cognise around the world due to their own recognizable technique and historied works of art. The first three works of art were Claude Monets Waterloo Bridge, Charing Crossing Bridge and Villas at Bordighera. The piece that I favor the most out of the three was Villas at Bordighera. The Villas At Bordighera is a 115cm by 130, oil on canvas that was multicolored in 1884. The reason I chose this particular painting was because it stood out the most with the vibrant colors of the garden and palms that surrounded the Mediterranean means grounding. In this painting, Monet gives the viewer a good sense datum of the Mediterranean light by the way! it reflection off the build and is absorbed by the colorful garden....If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderEssay.net
