There ar 12 major(ip) religions in the world today and none of them can liken to antediluvian patriarch Egyptian religion. Ancient Egyptians took their religion very soberly; it helped develop their culture single handedly. Egyptians did not believe in just one god like most religions. Ancient Egyptian religion was a unique religion because it consists of 3 major public opinions; ancient myths, nature and animal worship, and countless deities.
In ancient Egypt, myths were one of the most praised things in culture and religion. The spiritual beliefs of the ancient Egyptians were the dominating influence in the development of their culture. One of ancient Egypts most important and known myths was how Earth was created. Before prop on Egypt it was all darkness, the Egyptians believed that water was the first thing that invariably existed on Earth. The water in Egypt was known as Nun. then the Sun god, Ra, was born out of an egg and found himself on the surface of water. The first thing he ever created was a hill and on that hill he built a temple.

As soon as the temple was built he automatically started to create other gods. He created Geb the Earth, Shu the wind, Tefnut the rain, and Nut the sky. The final thing he did was name mankind, then in that location were men and women in the land of Egypt.
