1.) If any wizard ensnare another, putting a ban upon him, scarcely if he cannot prove it, then he that ensnared him shall be put to death.

My comment of this legality is that if you detain someone for a crime but cant prove it, you receive the penalty. Which in this case the punishment would be death. I believe this
law would be considered to harsh for this solar day and age. Legally and ethically, the death penalty is inappropriate for such a minuscule crime. Just consider the outcome, our population levels would decrease term crime levels are likely to increase, due to the lack of proof. In todays world a law like this would not move around for many different reason. It would be incredibly hard to in-force a law with such power. Hammurabis code may feed worked linchpin then, but wouldnt work in todays civilization. Another problems is the difference among to population from the past to now, enormous difference. Some leaders dexterity believe that Hammurabis code is the only way to withhold a Government power; my opinion is simply that the law would be to hard to in-force.

2.) If anyone take aways the property of a temple or of the court, he shall be put to death, and in any case the one who receives the stolen thing from him shall be put to death.





The way I understand this is as follows: if you steal from the government youll be punished and anyone dealing with the stolen goods will be punished. This law actually makes perfect sense. If you ask me, I dont work out it is right for anyone to steal from a government building. I also this it is a good thing that the accomplices receive a punishment as well. For someone to steal from the government just shows they have no respect for authorities. So I do manipulate this a law as a good one in the sense of respect. A law like this is use in todays world.
